23cm RX Preamplifier

This Receive Only 23cm 1200MHz Pre-amplifier is suitable for the 1240 to 1300MHz band, and can be easily re-tuned for use at 1420 or 1540MHz. The design is essentially broadband, and is a dual stage high gain amplifier that uses a low noise CE3512K2 HJ Fet followed by a PSA-0012 MMIC providing a very low noise figure. An on board 1100MHz high pass filter is used to reduce signals below 1000MHz including cellular 900MHz and 400MHz signals. The pre-amplifier incorporates integrated power supply decoupling so that power can be fed to the pre-amplifier via the coaxial cable. The pre-amplifier is suitable for FM and SSB applications including Satellite and ATV reception, and Amateur Astronomy versions are also available for 1420 and 1540MHz. Built products are only tested for gain and are not optimized or tested for noise figure.

EME179-M is a Fully constructed module board with female SMA connectors. This product cannot be mounted into a Hammond 1590A or AFL enclosure.

EME179-1590A Fully constructed in a 1590A enclosure with female SMA and 2.1mm DC socket.

EME179-1590AFL Fully constructed in a 1590AFL enclosure with female SMA and 2.1mm DC socket.

A 2.1mm DC power cable is supplied with both the EME179 1590A / AFL products.
