M SERIES MITSUBISHI MODULE PCB KIT

These Kits are to suit the older H3 package Mitsubishi Modules that some Hams or suppliers may still have in stock.

Kits include PC Board, Instructions, all onboard components, & mounting bolts. We are not able to supply the M series Mitsubishi modules to suit these.

All the Kits are very similar & only the bias voltage regulator & pin connections are different. All VHF modules will require a suitable low pass filter that is not supplied with this Kit. The PA Kit webpage shows how to build a suitable 2M LPF.

PC Board Size: 46 x 33mm

The notes supplied with these Kits are generic & do not contain specific RF power levels or DC current for each specific module. It is expected that the constructor will be able to use the Mitsubishi data sheet for the module that they are using to work out the RF drive level requirement.

8 WATT 2M ( 130-170MHz ) Power Amplifier KIT

Uses the Mitsubishi RA08H1317M module on a single PC board measuring 46x 33mm, & is suitable for many projects including homebrew Transceivers, Transverters, or APRS. The complete Kit includes all onboard components, double sided plated through hole board, mounting bolts, & construction notes. The Kit requires a heat sink, connectors, & miscellaneous hardware to complete.

Please Note: For most applications using FM, You will require a Heat sink with at least a rating of 2.5 degrees C per watt. For APRS with short transmissions a smaller heat sink can be used.

Uses a Mitsubishi RA30H0608M module on a single PC board measuring 70 x 33mm, & is suitable for many 50 to 54MHz projects including homebrew Transceivers & Transverters. The 2nd Harmonic from the RA30H0608M is only -25dBc so you will require a suitable Low Pass Filter.

18 WATT 23cm ( 1.2GHz ) Power Amplifier KIT

Uses a Mitsubishi RA18H1213G module on a single PC board measuring 70 x 33mm & is suitable for the 1200MHz FM ATV Transmitter & 23cm Transverter Kits etc. The complete Kit includes all onboard components, double sided plated through hole PC board, & extensive construction notes. 1 WATT 1.2GHz AMPLIFIER KIT

This Amplifier Kit uses an ATF50189 PHEMT which is specified at around 15.5dB gain, & a high +29dBm output power @ 1dB compression at 2GHz. On 1.2GHz the amplifier produces up to +29dBm @ the 1dB compression point. With an input of +10dBm, ( 10mW ) the amplifier will produce around +27dBm, ( 500mW ) output. The EME162-1200 Kit includes PC board & all on board components, requires connectors, & miscellaneous hardware to complete. The Amplifier is also suitable for driving the Mitsubishi RA18H1213G module to full power.

WIDEBAND AMPLIFIER KITS

Mini-Kits stock a range of simple broadband amplifier Kits that use the Mini-Circuits Gali devices. These amplifier Kits can be used as a gain block for a Radio design, or as a simple wide band preamplifier in the front of a scanning receiver, or TV set.

2 WATT 3.4GHz AMPLIFIER KIT

This Modern High Performance 3.4GHz Power Amplifier uses the TC3341 PHEMT MMIC. The MMIC is matched internally & provides a gain of 27dB & a saturated output power of more than +33dBm. The PA is suitable for linear & non linear modes, including SSB & FM Television. The design uses a 500kHz switching power supply to provide high efficiency over a +9 to +14 volt DC input range. The PA uses a ceramic based PC board & incorporates bias protection circuitry to protect the MMIC. The Kit is supplied with all onboard components including 10x M2.5x6mm mounting bolts, & requires a heat sink, connectors & miscellaneous hardware to complete.

No Tuning is Required, but either a power meter or Spectrum Analyzer would be useful to check the output power.

2.6GHz RELAY KIT

This Relay Kit is suitable for switching RF from 0 to 2.6GHz. The Relay is specified for up to 10Watts @ 900MHz, but has been used to reliably switch up to 20Watts FM on 1.2GHz. The Full EME144 Kit includes PC board G6Z Relay, & 3 x SMA09 Connectors.
