Directional Couplers
Mini-Kits manufacture and stock various packaged Directional Coupler Return Loss Bridge ( RLB ) modules. A RLB is used to evaluate an impedance match to 50ohms, so can be used to evaluate the input or output impedance of amplifiers, filters, and antennas. A RLB is normally used with other test equipment like a VNA, or spectrum analyser with tracking generator, but can also be used with a RF detector like the AD8307.
