The 0.85 to 1.8GHz frequency multiplier is constructed on a EME228 PC board, and has been specifically designed as a local oscillator multiplier for the Mini-Kits EME227-23CM 2400MHz Transverter, and can also be used for RX converters, or as a multiplier for ATV. A Mini-Kits designed 2 section filter is used to effectively filter out harmonics and oscillator noise allowing Transverter I/F frequencies down to 144MHz to be used.  Please refer to the Application Block Diagram on how this Kit is used.  The tune-able filter allows the Kit it to be used on frequencies from approximately 850MHz to 1.8GHz, see the EME227 Series Multiplier Kit Webpage for more information. 

If Required, an Optional Mini-Circuits LFCN Low Pass Filter can be added to effectively suppress harmonics.
