Oscillator Heater Description:

The EME177 Oscillator Heater has been specifically designed to suit the EME175 Oscillator Kit, to help stabilize frequency drift due to temperature.  It can also be used on many other products that have a frequency reference crystal including Radio Transceivers, Receivers and other oscillators that use crystals.  This Kit is also suitable for portable battery operation, and can be set for a temperature between +30 @ +75 degrees C.

Kit Constructors Alert:

1/ There could be issues with the temperature not being able to be increased up towards 60 degrees if the optional 3M3 feedback resistor is used. We are now recommending to just use the standard 300K as it still seems to heat the crystals reasonable fast. Kit notes after July 2015 do not include this as an option.
