The Mini-Kits EME209 Low Pass Filters are part of a building block to construct a high performance M1 Series HF Transceiver.  The EME209 module was designed with two relay switchable low pass filters on a single board, are ideal for reducing harmonics on the output of RF power amplifiers up to 100 Watts CW.  Some filter modules cover a number of HF bands including WARC bands which reduces the cost of separate filters for each band. The LPF-19M-30M module board covers the 20/17M with one filter, and the 15/12/10M bands with the other filter.  The available filter modules cover all of the HF Amateur bands excluding the 30M band, which cannot be used on the M1 Transceiver due to the use of a 9MHz IF.

The design incorporates on board relays to switch the filters into the RF signal path, and to provide filter isolation by grounding the filter when switched out of circuit.  The modules use stackable headers so that multiple filter boards can be stacked and controlled through the same IDC interface connector for band switching.

This Kit uses a  number of larger 1206 size surface mount capacitors due to component availability.  The basic Kit includes the PC board and all on board components, but excludes the SMA connectors which can be purchased separately if required.

For the highest performance and reliability, Only high quality first grade components from large suppliers in the USA, or direct from major manufacturers are used in this Kit

LPF-80-40M KIT is a Basic Kit for the 80 and 40M bands and includes the PC board, Instructions, and on board components.

LPF-20-17-15-12-10M KIT is a Basic Kit for the 20/17M and 15/12/10M bands and includes the PC board, Instructions, and on board components.

LPF-160-6M KIT is a Basic Kit for the 160M and 6M bands and includes the PC board, Instructions, and on board components.

EME209-PCB is a bare PC Board only and does not include any documentation or components.  ( Not Recommended as the components are not readily available )

2 x SMA33 connectors are recommended, Only required on one of the filter boards.

1 x IDC16S connector is recommended, Only required on one of the filter boards.

4 x SPA-M3x18-B-NY used to stack filter boards and match the height of the stackable headers.

All Kits require complete construction and use a number of SMD components that need to be soldered.  Kits Do Not include miscellaneous hardware, enclosure, or connectors.
