Mini-Kits is an Australian Registered Company, & is not associated with other Companies using the word Minikits,
or Mini-Kits in their advertising. Products are not available through secondary suppliers outside of Australia, &
should not be confused with other Minikits products sold by other suppliers.

Please Note, all Kits, artwork, & software designed by Mini-Kits is subject to Copyright, & cannot be reproduced without the permission from Mini-Kits. Our Kits & Software are not to be used for commercial applications without our approval.

All website content including Pictures are Copyright to Mini-Kits & cannot be used on any other website without permission from Mini-Kits.

Kits

Please Note: Most Kits are for advanced constructors with some experience with UHF construction techniques & alignment. Some Kits are supplied with tiny surface mount components & require good eyesight. All Kits are extensively tested to ensure that they will have consistent & predictable performance from Kit to Kit. Kits are provided with construction notes, circuit diagrams, components pinout data, & PC board overlay diagrams where required, to assist with construction. Some Kits can be supplied, ( Depending on backlog of work ) as built & tested PC boards less the box & mounting hardware. A Spectrum Analyser & Microwave Powermeter would be useful when building any of the Microwave & Local Oscillator Kits.

Transmitting Kits

Transmitting Kits Including Power Amplifiers will not be sold to unlicensed operators. All Transmitting Kits listed in the Kit section, require the operator to have the applicable Radio license Qualifications under the Australian Communications Authorities, Apparatus License for Radio Amateurs, or Professional Qualifications allowing the use of such equipment. Illegal operation of a Radio Transmitter attracts penalties under the Radio Communications Act, & can cause interference to Primary communication services & the Secondary Amateur Radio Services.

Please Note that Mini-Kits cannot be responsible or held liable for the use of any of our Products outside of Australia, including its technical compliance with local regulations & laws. We make every effort to ensure that Transmitter products including RF Power Amplifiers are only sold to customers that are allowed to use them.

Backorders

All goods that are in stock are sent promptly. Any goods that are out of stock are placed on backorder, & an Email will be sent to you. Backorders will be sent out without further postal charges provided that the products were available on this WEB site at the time of your order. At times customers place a purchase order for products that are not stock items, ( special Orders or Out Of Stock ) along with stock items. Extra charges for delivery apply as we will treat this as two purchase orders.

Warrantee Conditions

All components supplied in kits are high grade & have a low failure rate in manufacture. Components like Semiconductors, MMICs, GasFETs & Mitsubishi power modules, are extensively tested by the manufacturers & supplied in static safe packaging. Static safe handling & a grounded soldering iron should be used with high risk components. Mini-Kits will not normally replace any damaged or supposedly faulty Kits or Components without us testing or identifying a defect in faulty workmanship or materials. We will always try & help you out with any problems that you may have with our products.

Customers Responsibility

Mini-Kits cannot be held responsible for any damages due to the failure of electronic components supplied by manufacturers, or incorrect Kit construction causing electronic component explosion, or fire. Safety glasses should always be worn when soldering, or when cutting & drilling in construction. Good ventilation is recommended when Soldering, especially if you suffer from Asthma. All Mini-Kits Kits, should be tested using suitable safety equipment including a current regulated powersupply, & safety glasses. All Kits should be fitted with a suitable fuse or circuit breaker to the powersupply for safety. We are not liable for any damages to articles including electronic equipment with which our products are attached to, or modified to use in conjunction with.

Repair of Products

If you have trouble with your Kit, Mini-Kits can repair it for you, provided that your kit was assembled to a satisfactory standard. Please Email first before sending any products back for repair. A charge of $33.00 AUD applies, ( Australian & New Zealand Customers Only ) for repairs which will cover minor repairs & return postage. Overseas customers please Email. If a Kit requires extensive work or replacement of components, then you will be contacted with a quotation for the repair.

Damaged Or Missing Goods

Goods sent by Australia Post are not normally sent with Insurance. Optional Insurance is available for goods sent within Australia, or International by EMS courier at extra cost. Mini-Kits is not responsible for any goods once they have been delivered to Australia Post for delivery. Mini-Kits will assist to help & liaise with Australia Post to locate any goods that are lost. Please Note we have never had any goods go missing & not turning up in Australia or Overseas when sent by Australia Post. The service by Australia Post is Extremely reliable & low cost.

Return Of Goods

Goods can only be returned with authorisation by Email first. Goods can be returned within 14 days for a full refund provided that they are in the original unmarked condition when sold. Returns do not apply to semiconductors. Mini-Kits will not refund the post & packaging charges, or pay for return postage. Refunds for Australian customers are by direct Bank debit or cheque only. Charges apply for Overseas customers for refunds due to Bank fees & charges.

Privacy Policy

Mini-Kits supports the current strick rules on Privacy in Australia. There are clear standards on collection & use of personal information. We will not give away, or sell your personal information including email addresses, etc to anyone. We may at times use your information to send out special offers or information on new products.
