We have become aware of others directly copying our circuit board layouts & RF design techniques, & then profiting from it. In order to ensure that you are Purchasing Genuine Products from Mini-Kits Australia, along with full Product support, then Orders should only be placed directly with Mini-Kits Australia. A number of Companies have been using the word MINI KIT, MINIKITS OR MINI-KITS, or our Product part numbers in descriptions of their products, or in the HTML code on their webpage. Customers have quite often been confused or lured to other websites thinking that we have Stores or Dealers in other Countries. Always ensure

website & claiming that they were a reseller of our Products.
PRICING We have become aware of Auction site Sellers using MINI-KITS as an example to compare pricing, often implying that we are more expensive. Mini-Kits is a Registered Australia business that pays GST, Income Tax, & Import Duty & cannot be compared to sellers that pay No Taxes. Rememeber that goods sold by Auction in Australia by private or businesses, are not required to give any warrantee. Warrantee only applies in Australia for a buy it now on auction websites for Business Sellers not Private. Mini-Kits will always sell for the lowest possible prices to be able to stock these components in Australia for our customers to have the convenience of a local retailer.
PRODUCT QUALITY Private Sellers that sell surplus components may not know the origin of the products, or whether they are genuine or generic copies of the original products. Customers have often asked us about surplus Mini-Circuits products that they have purchased from auction sites that would not perform as per the specifications. Mini-Circuits does mention Counterfeit products being sold by unauthorized sources on their website. This puts us in a difficult situation, as MINI-KITS is not an authorized distributor of Mini-Circuits products even though we have been buying directly from them for over 15 years. We have asked to be an approved distributor but It seems difficult to get listed on the Mini-Circuits website. However we can state that we only buy genuine Mini-Circuits products direct from Mini-Circuits in the U.S.A. We are able to supply shipping documents to verify the origin of the products. Recent Purchases of Products from reputable electronic component manufacturers & suppliers has indicated that they may have also been caught out with Counterfeit products. This may be due to the downturn in the economy, with less components being manufactured this may be increasing the sourcing of surplus new old stock. This seems especially common with Semiconductors.
