Wanted ( Please Email Us) CURRENT NEWS 29/1/10 Toko have decided to delete their entire range of Helical filters & plastic moulded coils, only a few SMD products remain. Mini-Kits has bought large stocks of existing stock worldwide to enable current products to have a longer life. We have also had many issues sourcing particular common components, & have decided to no longer buy from suppliers that are unable to guarantee the future availability. Mini-Kits has purchased sample crystals from Kristaly in the Czech Republic that should arrive soon for testing. We are hoping that they can make a very high quality & low cost crystal suitable for our local oscillator Kits. This week we have released our awaited HF-DDS Kit that uses the AD9954 DDS. The Software emulates a Yaesu FT817 Radio that makes it usable with Ham Radio Deluxe. We hope to produce many add on Kits including a simple SDR Radio Receiver.
CURRENT NEWS 17/8/09 The Mini-Kits website as been updated this week to allow it to be more easily viewed by new technology using smaller screens. Please let me know by email if you have any issues viewing the website. I expect that most are now using modern browser software & are no longer lost in the past. We have gone back to a basic HTML page with some non critical Java. The AD9851 DDS Kits have now changed to the same hardware as the sweep Kit. This allows us to now use the 4x4 Keypad making it much easier to mount into a box. The software for both Kits are now interchangeable simply by replacing the PIC micro controller. See the DDS Kit pages for information. There are many new Products that are available, see below. NEWS 14/5/09 Due to the fall in the Australian dollar late last year & with the now increasing AUD, Mini-kits has not had to change pricing on most Products. Unfortunately some of our wholesale suppliers have still not decreased pricing with the better AUD to USD so Mini-kits has been negotiating with suppliers for better deals, or finding new suppliers with better pricing. The financial crisis has not affected the pricing of Kits by very much if at all, only the pricing on cable connectors, & mainly products out of Malaysia & the USA that deal in USD. Recently we have even been able to decrease prices on some products by buying more products in bulk quantities.
